DEMON SLAYER - Tanjiro Kamado - Figure Xross Link 15cm

Tanjiro Kamado is the main protagonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. After discovering that his family had been slaughtered by a demon, he realises that his sister Nezuko is the sole survivor, but that she herself has been transformed into a demon.

Determined to restore her humanity and avenge his family, Tanjiro trains under Sakonji Urokodaki before joining the Demon Slayer Corps.

Tanjiro stands out as much for his combat skills as for his deep empathy. Even when facing demons responsible for terrible crimes, he is often able to perceive the suffering or emotions that lie beneath their monstrosity.

His primary fighting style is based on the Water Breathing technique, which he learnt during his training. As his journey progresses, he also draws upon the Hinokami Kagura, a dance passed down within the Kamado family that gradually becomes central to his fighting style.

His exceptional sense of smell is another of his great assets. Tanjiro is able to detect extremely faint odours, follow scents and even perceive certain subtle changes in his opponents during a fight.

His relationship with Nezuko, however, remains the true driving force behind his journey. Despite her transformation, Tanjiro refuses to regard her as an enemy and is constantly searching for a way to restore her humanity.

During his missions, he fights alongside Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, two other Demon Slayers with whom he gradually forms an extremely close-knit group.

Tanjiro’s journey also sees him develop his abilities as he faces the members of the Twelve Demon Moons, Muzan Kibutsuji’s most powerful servants, right up to the saga’s decisive battles.
