Hatsune Miku - Sakura Miku - Statue Tenitol 19cm

Sakura Miku is an official variant of Hatsune Miku, specifically inspired by Japanese spring, cherry blossoms and cherries. Crypton Future Media officially presents her as a version of Miku whose design directly incorporates these symbols of spring.

Her appearance notably transforms Miku’s famous turquoise tones into a palette dominated by pink, reminiscent of the sakura in bloom. Cherry blossom motifs and small cherries frequently feature in her design.

The official main visual for Sakura Miku was drawn by KEI in 2019, before this variant went on to feature in numerous events, illustrations and merchandise.

Sakura Miku remains, however, directly linked to Hatsune Miku, the character associated with the singing software developed by Crypton Future Media. Thanks to the musical creations, illustrations and videos produced by her community, Hatsune Miku has gradually become a genuine international cultural phenomenon.

This creative culture also explains why Miku can exist in so many different forms. Her appearance can be reinterpreted by illustrators and designers according to seasonal, musical or artistic themes, whilst retaining the essential elements that make the character recognisable.
