The character Kevin comes from the famous animated franchise*Despicable Me* and its spin-off films dedicated to the Minions, produced by Illumination Entertainment. The plot of *Minions 2: Once Upon a Time with Gru* is set in the 1970s and follows a young, twelve-year-old Felonius Gru as he attempts to join a group of supervillains. To help him in his misdeeds, his loyal yellow minions must learn to defend themselves. This figurine is inspired by the comical scene where Kevin practises martial arts. Dressed in the famous yellow and black full-body jumpsuit – a tribute to Bruce Lee’s classic film *The Game of Death* – Kevin embodies the offbeat humour and legendary clumsiness that characterise these little creatures.
